Corn Dip

So a friend of mine reminded me yesterday, that she wanted my corn dip recipe.  That got me thinking why don't I just post it on my blog.  Sorry no pics because I have not made it since Christmas due to my life being crazy. 

Corn Dip Recipe
1 8oz block of cream cheese
2 cups of salsa or maybe a little or less depending on how runny your salsa is... I use Costco organic and it is pretty runny
2 cups of corn...est. again due to using homemade bagged corn
1 bag of sharp cheddar cheese

Mix together and bake at 400 degrees for about 30 mins. or until brown and bubbly.  I am more of a dumper than an exact cook.  Feel free to add green chilies, green pepper, or hot sauce to make it spicier. 

We are still alive

Life is running away from me at a very rapid rate! Our little Miss is making some great smiles and coos.  I am needing take a deep breath and continue to keep up with the journal of our lives.  A goal for this week: BLOG!

Some days...

Some days I just want to have a quiet dinner with the hubs and pretend we are alone! So tonight that is what we did... the girls were sleeping away, but we heard some mysterious noises from the study where the boys always think they need to play.  We just let them go because we just wanted to hang out.  It was relaxing and kind of like "old"times.  The boys played happily and we enjoyed five bites of uninterrupted time together.  Ahhh bliss!

On another note, everyone here is just hanging out.  We had a unexpected gift yesterday and we all enjoyed a little more time with daddy.  One of the many blessings of my husbands workplace!

We are still alive!

I am still standing and still around! Lately, I have a very limited time to do anything besides eat or take care of someone.  Most days I sit down around 9 pm when everyone is finally in bed and look around my house to see everything that needs to be done.  So sorry for the lack of posts lately.  I promise I will get more ideas flows and more updates on the kids.  But for right now life is just running away without me. 

2 Months and an Update

Well, my little girls are over two months... I am little behind in my postings! Life is pretty crazy here when I am home by myself. 

Stats:
- Both of you are wearing size 1 diapers
- Kelvie- 9lbs. 6 oz and 21 1/2 long
- Brinton 8lbs. 6 oz. 21 1/2 long
- Everyone is still wearing newborn and size 0-3 clothes
- Kelvie and Brinton are holding their heads up
- Kelvie is a big eater ... sometime you eat 8 oz. in a 4 hour period
- Miz B you are not quite as big of an eater as your sister
- Both of you LOVE people and always are super alert.
We Love you both more than the world and can't wait to see how you grow into what God wants you to be.

A little update on Brinton... We met with her neurologist last Thursday and she is pleased with her progress.  She said Brinton is still a mystery and we just want to make sure it doesn't happen again.  Dr. Hopkins does believe her blood presure did drop and that she does have a spinal cord injury.  Our peditrican informed us that by the grace of God she is being healed!!! We are still thanking God for giving us our little girl and letting us keep her.  He is faithful!

Our little Christmas joy!! 

Hudson turned 2 this year on Christmas Day.  We talked about how it was Jesus birthday and Hudson's bday all at the same time.  

Facts on Hudson:

- You are super funny and smart

- Everyday you enjoy watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and dancing.

- You are wearing 2T and still wearing diapers, but hopefully for not much longer!

- Elijah is your best friend and you love him a ton!

- Tractors, trucks, cars, and farm items are your favorite.  

We Love your fun spirit and crazy little self.  You were quite the shock on Christmas Day, but we would not trade you for anything!
