I haven't blogged lately about the pregnancy and after reading two blogs in the last couple of days about people announcing their "news". I thought to myself I need to update all of you blog readers on what is going on inside of my belly!
The baby is moving a lot and they say it slows down, but not my kid! It just keeps moving and poking. I love it and it reminds me everyday to be thankful that I feel all this going on inside of me. That is baby is doing well and we will get to see the little one next week at our appt. I have to say I have been very blessed to have such a wonderful pregnancy and it has really gone so smoothly! I have about seven to eight weeks left depending on how long they are going to let me go due to my slightly high blood pressure. It is only high when i go into the drs. office, but I am really trying to work on that! So this week will be a true test and I am going to try some new things on relaxing myself. I cannot wait to see what our little bun will be either girl or boy. I am enjoying every minute of this and can't wait to meet our little person!

Weekend Wrap-Up
This weekend flew by! Friday night we spend the first part of the night at friends house just chatting and catching up! Then it was off to the Pa Rent Faire to see their presentation of Edgar Allen Poe. It was very interesting and super cool how they portrayed the different characters from that time period. The fee was very well worth how long it was and it was something different.
Saturday we deiced to sell our PSU tickets and trade them for a day at home. We got a lot done and accomplished. We also got to have over K's sis and bro in law... which was fun to catch up with them with out the whole fam around! K has also put up all of our Christmas Decor... he is so proud that he has it all up!
Sunday came with a whole new set of ideas! We had birthing class ALL day. It was rough to sit all day and listen to this lady talk. All I wanted to say to some people in it was shut your mouth and just listen. I survived and hub learned some new information, I however feel like it was nothing new. After class, we got to have dinner with Susie my roomie from my before K days. It was so fun to catch up and hear about each others lives.
So it was s super busy weekend, but really fun all at the same time!

Kind of a Blah week!
There is not much going on this week here and it is kind of blah...I had a stressful drs. appt. yesterday and now I feel like God is giving me these hurdles to understand how grateful I should be for this little one! I am eternally thankful, but some days I just want to scream! Why can't my body just be "normal" for one second! I know there is no normal and everything with this pregnancy has gone wonderfully so I should not be complaining at all!
So with all that said I need to relax and enjoy the sunny day here in Pa. Soon the baby will be here and I will be excited to share the little one with everyone around us!

Weekend Wrap-Up
We had a great weekend that started out with nothing and ended up very full! Friday night we had dinner with from friends from the Milt....great time, but I was super tired. I guess this third trimester stuff is making me more worn out than i thought!
Saturday night we had a surprise 50th party for my MIL and here is a group shot of all of the Pierce ladies... We had a lovely time and it was fun!
Sunday we had two parties to go to and they were both fun! We got to hang out with our friends from Friday night at their daughters 15th birthday party and other friends from church had a housewarming party. It made for a busy, but really fun day!!

Random Smatterings
This week has been rather slow, but I feel like God is leading me through this time to prepare me for the days to come! I have been making myself busy around the house and planning upcoming events our lives! I have a quick recap from this last past weekend. We were planning on working and then the pig flu hit and I was banned from the student home. I was kind of bummed because Kent and I get to work together! So I missed the hub all weekend, but came up with some plans. One of those was a movie and dinner with the cuz on Sat. night
So we went out for Mexican and it was delish... then headed over the Tarjee... where we did a little shopping pictured above. Then onto the movie Amelia... which was okay, but the theater was soooo hot that I was dying so we left!

Monday... Monday
This weekend went way too fast, but was very enjoyable! We had only two boys because most of them went home for the long weekend. So we got a lot of running around accomplished and a few things for the baby accomplished. Which was a calming feeling. This week is shaping up to very busy with a lot ahead. I need to use the next two days of not working as best as I can and get as much done as I can. So here is to a very productive Monday!

It has been WAY TOO LONG!
Sorry to all my regular readers out there! HAHA... like I have any! It has been a crazy whirlwind of a week. Here is a picture of my cutie sisters who cam to visit last weekend for us to make applesauce and hang out. It was really fun and we wish we had more weekends like this. We got lots of applesauce made, which will taste really good in April when I am feeding it to my baby!
Jenna actually in the act of grinding up the apples! Doesn't she look like a pro!
This is king of tricky... I by accident got some apples jammed in the grinder and then I went to squeeze them out, but instead the mallet that we use just got stuck! I was laugh hysterically, but we had to call in the man power to get it out. You can also see the belly a little bit better in this pic!
And here is one belly pic for all of you who have been asking. I am carrying very high... but still feel kicks at the bottom... so we will see what the Midwife says today! Busy weekend and week ahead... lots of fun stuff to report on!

25 weeks!
Last night was a total first for me and I will explain, but not in total detail! I had my first pregnant lady meltdown. I am sure these are going to come more and more frequently, but this is so out of character for me. I am not a cryer by any stretch of the imagination. The hub even said to me last night it is nice to see you break down every now and again it reminds me that you are not always so strong. That got me thinking and wondering if I am too strong.... do I not rely on my Heavenly Father enough. That comment I am sure will keep me thinking for the next couple of weeks. The meltdown was short lived and was over nothing major just these dumb baby showers!
On an completely different note we had a great weekend here in Pa just really rainy! I am so glad to see the sun today and it looks like this is going to be the warmest day of the week. Fall is officially coming in. I enjoy fall and all of the changes it brings. I know I need to post some belly pictures on here so all can see. I will try to take some soon, but I don't really have that big of one yet, but this little person is moving like crazy! Liz comes in on Wednesday and we get to hang out with her all weekend, which will be nice! Jenna and I are making our traditional applesauce on Saturday, which will be delightful! That is the best memory of fall!

22 weeks and counting
Today officially marks 22 weeks of the bun! I am starting to be overwhelmed with feelings. I am excited most days and then sometimes I feel like our whole lives are going to change, which completely freaks me out! I am excited to see what this little person is going to be boy or girl and what personality traits they will have. I am excited to be a mom and raise a this little person to love God, be confident, love friends and family. So I am looking forward to the days that are coming and how many more there are before the baby comes!
Fall is starting to set in here. It has been a welcome change except my allergies are starting to go a little crazy! I am enjoying the cooler weather and all of our fall traditions! It should be a blast. The start of fall means we are that much closer to the baby coming, which is also exciting! K painted the nursery this weekend, but my camera is still MIA so I can not take any pics. As soon as it returns I will take some pics!
Enjoy this fall day!

A New Week
I have just spent the last couple of moments reading some wonderful blogs that inspire, challenge, and give me great ideas! I now feel encouraged to keep writing on my own blog. I do want to keep this more like a record of our life than anything else because my journal does not always get written in and I want to remember these times!
This week has been incredibly busy already this week! I subbed on Monday and then headed home for a crazy evening including making a meal for someone in small group, going to the Y, babysitting, and driving down to a friends house! Yesterday, was just glorious! I spent the entire day at the King of Prussia mall just wondering around enjoying shopping and lunch! I came home to very tired and to a husband who was feeling rested, but missed me! I missed him way too much also.
The hub has started back to his full routine! He is giving lessons private and to his school students, which has made for busy days for him. We seem to just be on opposite schedules these days, but the day will come when this little one comes and all will change!
Speaking of the little one, we had our 20 week ultrasound and everything measured and looked great! So we just need to wait 19 more weeks until we see him or her. I am feeling great and I can feel the baby move a ton! This kid is very active like its momma!

Back to School
Today is K's first day back to school after a super busy summer. I am missing him like crazy and I even got up to make his breakfast. Then, of course, I went back to bed for some more shut eye. I find it makes the day go faster if I don't get up until 10 something. So here's to another school year at the milt!
The pregnancy is going great so far! I was at the midwives office last Thursday and she said everything was great just keeping any eye on my blood pressure, but I have been getting some great reading here at home. I just need to relax! When I distract myself while I am taking it goes down. Why can't I just do that all the time! So before we know it the little one will be here!
This fall is shaping up to quite busy! I love the fall and now that K is back to school I am super ready for it.
