Weekend Wrap-Up

This weekend was one of the best we have had in a while! Most of the time was spent either sitting on a couch somewhere or just hanging out with friends, which always makes the weekend delightful.

Friday night we headed to Downingtown to hang out with Maki, Dave, and Nate. We ate a great Mexican place and watched a movie at their place, which of course is amazing on a huge screen t.v.

Saturday we picked up a student from MHS and hung out with her at our place. We played games, ate pizza, and watched How to Eat Fried Worms. It was a first for me with the movie, but it was really cute. In the evening we headed over to our friends the Dodson's and had chicken bbq, which is a total PA treat in the spring.

Sunday was filled with church and dinner with the Pierce fam to celebrate Mother's Day. My mil got a new bracelet for the occasion and we had a pretty okay dinner. We were super cramped at a table and it was really hard to talk. Then home to just chill out and I ended my weekend with a nice hot bath!

So onto this week. We do not have much on the calender so it should be rather calm, which is what I need!

I'm so sorry about your mom. It is amazing how much it hurts to be without. Do you ever find yourself feeling completely lost, and desperately longing for a chance just to talk with her? No matter how many special women you have in your life, there is just nobody like your mom. If ever you need to talk, drop me an email. It is so good to be able to talk to someone who can completely understand your emotions.
