What I learned this week

I have a learned a bunch of lessons this week. The first one is that God's timing is always perfect and I need to trust in it! We finally got a call last night that we are going to Cali this summer to serve at Mile High Pine Camp. We are both very excited after the weeks of waiting and waiting. We did not think it was going to happen and that we were going to stay in Pa for the summer, but God has other plans!
I learned through this whole experience that my hub can sometimes put on a really good front to keep me calm. He was excited at first about this trip and then got a little apprehensive, but now we are both super excited. He told me his real feelings after we booked our flight!
Lastly I learned that putting charcoal in the bottom of our gas grill will stay hot for a very long time. I cooked a bunch of stuff last night on the grill and the charcoal was still hot after I was done.

Yes, I thought of that after the fact and I am trying out no carbs this week!

I like Jo-Lynne's idea. S'mores are yummy after a good grilled meal.
